As our BigQuery Data Architect, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping data infrastructure and driving data-driven decision-making across organizations. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data warehouses and models using Google BigQuery, ensuring data quality, security, and performance at every step.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and performant data warehouses on Google BigQuery.
• Develop and maintain data models that support diverse business needs and analytics requirements.
• Create and automate data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and cleansing data from various sources.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and engineers to define data requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Optimize data warehouse performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Document data models, pipelines, and processes for better maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and modeling.
• Proven expertise in Google BigQuery, including schema design, data ingestion, transformations, and querying.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including dimensional and fact modeling.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and processes.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms like GCP.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
